This past Monday 28th April, the Andalucía Directo colleagues once again demonstrated that they are a benchmark for public service by carrying out a programme on the streets, telling the story of the problems caused by the total blackout that affected the whole of Spain.
Once again, for more than 27 years now, Andalucía Directo demonstrated its commitment to public service, making live connections in different Andalusian locations throughout its broadcast.
Using the limited resources available, reporters repeatedly connected live to the set, bringing peace of mind to Andalusian homes from railway stations, hospitals, roads and the street itself, giving citizens a voice and relaying official news as it broke.
Once again, AD has fulfilled its public service role on a very difficult day, demonstrating that it is a benchmark for national television.
