The Canal Sur programme, produced by Grupo ADM, Andalucía en Semana Santa, has received this Tuesday the Luz 2025 Award in the category of Innovation, according to the jury ‘for its pioneering use of technology based on artificial intelligence (AI) for the production of audiovisual pieces on the legends of Easter Week in Andalusia, where it has had the collaboration of the latest Google tools based on AI’.
Gustavo Fuentes, CEO of Grupo ADM, received the award this lunchtime at the Caseta del Círculo Mercantil e Industrial del Real de la Feria de Sevilla. Fuentes highlighted the implementation of AI in Grupo ADM, of which it is a national pioneer in television formats. He also highlighted the important synergy with Google, thanks to which it has been able to rely on its latest generation AI tools.
Andalusia is today one of the most active regions in digital transformation, with an annual growth of 15% in the ICT sector and more than 15,000 technology companies registered, which reinforces the role of these awards as a showcase of reference to highlight the talent and innovation of the autonomous community.
