We present a pioneering project in the field of documentary production: the generation of archive footage and audiovisual resources through the use of Artificial Intelligence—an initiative designed to transform how historical content and narrative support materials for documentaries are created, preserved, and accessed.

The project stems from a recurring need in the industry, one we have also faced in our own series and standalone documentary projects: the lack of available archive material, difficulties in accessing original sources, the high costs of licenses and rights, or simply the nonexistence of key images needed to reconstruct events, contexts, or characters. In documentary production, these limitations profoundly affect narrative and creative capacity, often forcing producers to give up sequences, recreations, or essential moments required to tell a story with accuracy and depth.

As demonstrated at Grupo ADM, we can efficiently generate original audiovisual resources, created specifically to be integrated into documentaries as if they were part of real archival material.
