From Grupo ADM we are proud to announce the premiere of Buscatesoros, an innovative format that comes to Canal Sur by the hand of Antonio Garrido. With this program, we want to offer viewers an exciting journey through Andalusia in search of the treasures that Andalusians keep at home.
Each week, our team of experts will travel around Andalusia to discover whether the objects presented by the participants are authentic historical gems or simply curiosities of no great value. In addition, in each episode we will have special guests who will contribute their vision and participate in the exciting phase of appraisal and auction.
The Buscatesoros team is made up of top level specialists:
- Juan Pedro, an antique dealer from Jaén with more than 20 years of experience in the world of antiques.
- Juan Matías Ruíz, an expert in auctions and collecting who has travelled halfway around the world in search of unique pieces.
- Lidia Cano, a restorer from Malaga dedicated to giving a second life to antique furniture and objects.
- Natalia Roig, a reporter in charge of discovering the treasures kept by some well-known faces.
The program has premiered with a trip to Cordoba in which the Buscatesoros team has appraised and discovered unique items such as antique war helmets, classic toys or a record collection of more than 200,000 copies.
In addition, it has had an exceptional guest, Manuel Benítez “El Cordobés”, who has shared his passion for antiques and witnessed some of the most surprising finds of the program. Among them, he has highlighted an album of stickers from the early twentieth century and a collection of bullfighting objects with great sentimental and historical value.
The program will be broadcast weekly on Canal Sur Television, every Wednesday at 22:45 hours, promising to continue surprising the audience with the treasures hidden in Andalusian homes.
